QIFF 2016 attracts over 200,000 visitors
Over 200,000 visitors enjoyed this year's Qatar International Food Festival and its offerings in at MIA Park, Katara and The Pearl
The 7th edition of the Qatar International Food Festival was held at the Museum of Islamic Art Park in Doha as in the previous three years.
A number of new elements were introduced for the first time - most significantly the extension of the festival to two additional locations at The Pearl and Katara. Both new venues featured the Qatar International Food Festival at their premises - each with unique concepts complementing the main festival at the MIA Park.
Other new elements included a water shuttle linking the three festival venues with each other and a number of new design and content elements at the main festival, such as new, custom-designed food stalls, new zones, an increase in participants to over 100 stalls and many other highlights.
Over 200,000 visitors came to enjoy the festival over the three venues.
