Qatar's Prime Minister inaugurates QITCOM 2014
Qatar’s major ICT Conference and Exhibition opened with speeches by Qatar’s Prime Minister, Ministers of ICT and of Finance
His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, today inaugurated the third edition of Qatar ICT Conference and Exhibition, QITCOM 2014, at the Qatar National Convention Centre. Furthermore, opening speeches were delivered by Her Excellency Dr. Hessa Al Jaber, the Minister of ICT as well as His Excellency, Ali Sharif Al Emadi, The Minister of Finance.
Organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology and managed by fischerAppelt, Qatar, the event will be held for three days from 26 May until 28 May. QITCOM 2014 features over 120 exhibitors, 10,000 sqm of exhibition space, a three-day conference featuring local, reagional and global ICT thought leaders and experts as well as a wide range of press conferences, product presentations, special events and activities.
