UEFA Euro 2024 Fan Festival - Berlin

Over 1.1 million visitors witnessed a reimagined fan zone, that turned two iconic city locations into fan zones, concert halls, a public park, an open-air cinema, a safe space, a giant selfie hot spot, a chillout zone, a multifaith space and probably the biggest picnic area in all of Berlin.

As the most sustainable ever, the event was powered entirely by renewable energy, eliminated single-use packaging and saved over 100 tons of CO2. With a 98% implementation rate of sustainability measures, it set new standards for eco-friendly events. The fan zone was fully accessible and offered a true all-inclusive approach.

The project empowered local participation through open calls, ensuring a lasting positive impact on the host city and became a benchmark for sustainable, inclusive large-scale events.
