The second edition of the Formula 1 in Qatar, taking place at the fully revamped Lusail Circuit from the 6th to the 8th of October, was bigger and better than ever.
fA planned, organized and executed the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2023 Fan Zone & Concerts & Pre - Campaign that took place in Lusail Circuit from 6-8 November including an invite-only Pit Walk on 5 November.
The Fan Zone welcomed 40,000 spectators across the the areas of the Central Area, Lusail Hill, Turn 2 / Turn 3 and Turn 16. The scope included the management of 12 partners (which includes 8 types of activations from Formula 1), an exhibition display of 5 prestige cars, entertainment for the stage, paddock and roaming. Activations and F&B services also catered all types of visitors as per age group and their preference.
AFTER RACE CONCERTS
The Fan Concerts also organised every evening after the races, attracted a diverse audience, with attendance ranging from 9 to 12,000 people. The extensive scope of work encompassed Technical & Artist Management, Branding, F&B, Crowd Management, Security, Guest & VIP services among other tasks. An integral feature of the comprehensive technical management were the impressive special effects. Pyrotechnics, lasers, flames, and confetti were professionally designed, mapped and executed.
fischerAppelt was also in charge of delivering the pre-event campaign that extended the pulse-pounding energy of F1 to the wider public throughout various malls across Qatar, KSA, and Kuwait. A travelling roadshow full of interactive and digital entertainment immersed visitors in the fervor and exhilaration at the heart of F1, ultimately enticing them to buy tickets to the event.
