Returning after 2012, Doha became a city-wide cinema. One brand, 18+ venues, delivered at scale.

Doha Film Festival 2025 marked the return of the festival since its last international edition in 2012, delivered as a large-scale, multi-venue cultural platform. The festival combined cinema, industry programming, music, ceremonies, hospitality, and public-facing experiences, built to feel like one coherent festival world rather than separate events.

The project encompassed the full transformation of multiple venues into a cohesive festival environment, including red carpet, temporary cinemas, industry forums, concerts, lounges, talks, a gala dinner, and opening and closing ceremonies. The scale required a visually consistent system across very different spaces, while maintaining the technical polish expected from an international festival.

The festival was executed across 18+ operational zones, delivering a high-impact, technically complex program. fischerAppelt led multiple workstreams including creative development, production and venue fit-out, technical delivery and operations, ensuring consistency, control and delivery across the city-wide footprint.
