Jadal Summit
Women in Dialogue
A three-day, women-led summit for theology, ethics and society, built for depth, exchange and community.
Across two editions, the Jadal Summit has energized Al-Mujadilah Centre and Mosque for Women with dialogue, ideas and community, built as a three-day gathering exploring “Muslim Women Navigating Theology, Ethics, and Society.” Inspired by the story of Khawla bint Tha’laba and the Quranic concept of jadal, the summit convened over 100 women from around the world.
The summit’s credibility is anchored in high-level presence and purposeful programming. The first edition welcomed Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser and Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, while the second edition was honored by Her Highness’ presence and included remarks by Her Excellency Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi.
Through keynotes, breakout discussions and networking moments, delivered through an all-women-led production, Jadal has established itself as a bold and growing annual platform for meaningful exchange. The result is not just an event format, but a sustained convening model powered entirely by women, designed for depth rather than spectacle
