FIFA Fan Festival 2022™

Nov. – Dec. 2022, Qatar hosted the FIFA World Cup™ and warmly embraced football's global fan community. At the heart of this historic event, fischerAppelt took the lead in providing a comprehensive Turnkey Solution for designing, planning, and executing the inaugural FIFA Fan Festival™. Notably, this marked the first instance in FIFA World Cup history where a single agency was entrusted with such a massive and all-encompassing project.

Under the directives of the Supreme Committee and FIFA, fischerAppelt embarked on a mission to create a groundbreaking fan zone experience. This concept aimed to blend football match screenings, culinary culture, entertainment, and interactive activations, departing from the conventional one-dimensional public screening events and transforming the venue into a multidimensional event extravaganza with over 100.000 visitors daily over a span of 30 operational days.
